Anh Thomas Advisory is a financial consultancy offering comprehensive investment counsel to clients globally. Montet Capital Ventures is a privately-held investment enterprise specializing in value-driven investments within the Southeast Asian equities and startup arena. The Montet Humanitarian Foundation is a charitable institution dedicated to aiding marginalized communities in the Philippines, funded by the Montet family’s personal resources. Manila Sports Club is a sports-oriented establishment launched by the Montet Consortium in the Philippines. As the Montet Consortium broadens its footprint, we are in search of an Assistant Portfolio Strategist based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both English and Vietnamese, exhibit robust analytical capabilities, possess a sound comprehension of financial markets, and demonstrate effective portfolio management skills. Key Responsibilities: As a pivotal member of our team, you will be tasked with the following key responsibilities: Collaborate with senior portfolio managers in conducting thorough investment research, analysis, and due diligence on potential investment prospects. Aid the portfolio management team in formulating and overseeing investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and risk parameters. Generate investment recommendations and reports rooted in comprehensive analysis and assessment of financial data. Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and pertinent news influencing investment decisions. Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to collect information and insights supporting investment strategies. Conduct regular performance evaluations of portfolios and propose adjustments as necessary. Effectively communicate with clients, addressing queries, providing updates, and fostering robust relationships. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investment transactions, portfolio positions, and client communications. Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Fluency in English, French and Vietnamese is a must. Proven experience or internship in a similar role, demonstrating your understanding of investment analysis and portfolio management. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Familiarity with investment principles, financial markets, and different asset classes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, and other portfolio management systems. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or progress toward attaining the designation is a plus.
