Job Summary: The Montet Consortium, founded by Mr. Thomas Vivian Montet, is a dynamic conglomerate comprising four entities: Anh Thomas Advisory, Montet Capital Ventures, Montet Humanitarian Foundation, and Manila Sports Club. Anh Thomas Advisory is a financial consultancy offering comprehensive investment counsel to clients globally. Montet Capital Ventures is a privately-held investment enterprise specializing in value-driven investments within the Southeast Asian equities and startup arena. The Montet Humanitarian Foundation is a charitable institution dedicated to aiding marginalized communities in the Philippines, funded by the Montet family’s personal resources. Manila Sports Club is a sports-oriented establishment launched by the Montet Consortium in the Philippines. As the Montet Consortium broadens its footprint, we are in search of a Junior Investment Strategist based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both English and Vietnamese, exhibit robust analytical capabilities, possess a sound comprehension of financial markets, and demonstrate effective portfolio management skills. The Montet Consortium is particularly interested in individuals who display a keen eagerness to learn, exhibit a strong work ethic, and harbor a passion for the finance industry. Key Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: Collaborate with senior portfolio managers to conduct thorough investment research, analysis, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Assist the portfolio management team in designing and managing investment portfolios, ensuring they align with investment objectives and risk parameters. Produce investment recommendations and reports based on comprehensive analysis and assessment of financial data. Stay informed on market trends, economic indicators, and relevant news that could impact investment decisions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights that support investment strategies. Conduct regular performance evaluations of portfolios and recommend adjustments as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and building strong relationships. Maintain accurate records of investment transactions, portfolio positions, and client communications. Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Fluency in English, French, and Vietnamese is essential. A PhD in Finance, Economics, or a related field is highly preferred. Proven experience or internship in a similar role, showcasing your understanding of investment analysis and portfolio management. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Familiarity with investment principles, financial markets, and different asset classes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, and other portfolio management systems. Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or progress toward attaining the designation is a plus. Salary and Conditions: Competitive basic salary.
