Manila Sports Club is the group’s sports initiative based in the Philippines, promoting athletic development and community engagement. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Junior Investment Strategist to join our Hanoi-based team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong financial understanding, analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in investment markets. Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required, and proficiency in French is highly valued. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support senior investment professionals in a range of analytical and strategic tasks, including: Assisting in the evaluation of investment opportunities through detailed research, financial analysis, and due diligence. Supporting the construction and ongoing management of investment portfolios aligned with defined objectives and risk strategies. Preparing investment insights, reports, and recommendations based on financial and market data analysis. Monitoring macroeconomic developments, market movements, and industry trends that may influence investment decisions. Collaborating with internal teams to gather relevant data and strengthen investment theses. Reviewing portfolio performance on a regular basis and suggesting adjustments when necessary. Maintaining direct communication with clients, responding to inquiries, and providing timely updates. Ensuring accurate documentation of transactions, portfolio allocations, and client interactions. Contributing to presentations and strategic reports for internal review and external stakeholders. Candidate Profile To succeed in this position, candidates should demonstrate: Fluency in English, Vietnamese, and French. A PhD in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred. Prior experience or internship exposure in investment analysis, asset management, or a related field. Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Solid understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and portfolio theory. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in financial tools and platforms such as Excel, Bloomberg, and portfolio management systems. Progress toward or completion of CFA certification is considered an advantage.
